Oral Surgery

| ▸ Adult:Amoxicillin 2 gm as a single dose 30-60 min before procedure
|
| ▸ Pediatrics:Amoxicillin 50 mg/kg as a single dose 30-60 min before procedure
|
| Unable to take Oral Medication
|
| Preferred Regimen'
|
| ▸ Adult: Ampicillin 2 g IM or IV as a single dose 30-60 min before procedure
|
| ▸ Pediatrics: Ampicillin 50 mg/kg as a single dose 30-60 min before procedure
|
| Alternative Regimen
|
| ▸ Adult: Cefazolin or Ceftriaxone 1 g IM or IV as a single dose 30-60 min before procedure
|
| ▸ Pedicatrics:Cefazolin or Ceftriaxone 50 mg/kg IM or IV as a single dose 30-60 min before procedure
