Things that need to be done

COVID-19 page

  • The review process should be completed as soon as possible.
  • All the participants should adhere to wikidoc template guidelines.
  • Coaches should prepare a list of scholars who are willing to adhere to the wikidoc policy and include them on the team.
  • People who are unable to follow the rules can leave the team.
  • COVID-19 associated myocardial injury page should be updated. it should have an algorithm on how to approach an individual with an elevated troponin level in the setting of COVID-19. The algorithm should have content on the various causes of myocardial injury and how to manage each situation.
  • Jose will write a page on COVID-19 associated stress cardiomyopathy.
  • Roukoz should be in touch with Gerry to update the FAQ pages regularly.
  • Roukoz is the new leader of COVID-19 associated FAQ project.
  • Home page of wikidoc should be fixed by Moises and Tayyaba.
  • Adnan Heidar should make a table on how to differentiate COVID-19 associated meningitis from COVID-19 associated encephalitis.
  • Adnan is also responsible to update the differential diagnosis table in other pages.

Whenever you want to share a link on the social media do the make sure you follow the following steps:
1. The page that you are going to share exists.
2. The page is written according to the template.
3. The page is reviewed by coaches and leaders.
4. Ask Aditya/Sahar if the page is ready and complete to be shared.

  • Continue working on each section based on Dr. Gibson's feedback during the meeting
  • The team members should go through different COVID-19 chapters and give the other team feedback (according to previous plan mentioned in the table below)
  • The COVID-19 pages should be ready by this Saturday
  • Aditya, Fahime, Krishna, and Sahar should review all the COVID-19 pages on Sunday and Monday

Social Media

  • Give the readers a "Take Home Messages" on the twitter post
  • Add pictures or important points of the article in the twitter post

  • Update Emergency medicine chapter list according to a reference book and add pages that are missing
  • Chapters that are related to the delivery of the care can have different templates and are not focus of attention for the chapter list
  • Continue to transfer the list from google sheet to the wikidoc pages

  • Suggestion to add the complications on the main page
  • Shift the gastrointestinal transmission of COVID-19 to the main pathophysiology page

  • Things to look at and consider:
    • Does COVID-19 causes bleeding or only hypercoagulability
    • Differentiate between the causes and the pathophysiology, Is COVID-19 the cause of the associated complications or the Cytokine storm or a yet to be known mechanism
    • Are there any autopsies where the COVID-19 virus was isolated from the brain?
    • Myocarditis: Focus on endothelitis, Autopsy studies on microthrombosis of microvasculature rather than myocardial inflammation (Myocarditis)
    • Age, Race, and Gender should be added to the epidemiology even if there is no enough information
