Overview

Electrocardiogram has no role in the diagnosis of thymoma except it may show findings in a thymoma patient with positive history of myasthenia gravis (MG).

Electrocardiogram

• Electrocardiogram (ECG) may show ischemic ST-T wave changes.
• These changes can give false picture of ischemic heart disease.
• Thymectomy can reverse the abnormal ECG changes.
