Overview

Total anomalous pulmonary venous connection is a rare cyanotic congenital heart disease.

Incidence[1]

  • It's a rare cyanotic congenital heart disease
  • 0.6 to 1.2 per 10,000 live births.
  • It is the fifth most commonest cause of cyanotic heart diseases
  • Among the congenital heart disease, the incidence of TAPVC ranges between 0.7 - 1.5 percent.
