Overview

The following laboratory tests are required for patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma, including squamous cell carcinoma: complete blood count, electrolytes, calcium, alkaline phosphatase, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin, creatinine, albumin, and lactate dehydrogenase.[1]

Laboratory Findings

The following laboratory tests are required for patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma, including squamous cell carcinoma:[1]

  • Complete blood count
  • Electrolytes
  • Calcium
  • Alkaline phosphatase
  • Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST)
