Overview

Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are indicated for chondrosarcoma as adjuvant therapy or palliative treatment in surgically inaccessible areas.

Medical Therapy

  • Chemotherapy or traditional radiotherapy are not very effective for most chondrosarcomas.[1][2][3][4]
  • Wide spread metastasis is usually an indication for systemic radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
    • It is also indicated as a palliative treatment in surgically inaccessible areas.
