Overview
Echocardiography is useful in patients with murmurs because it is useful for diagnosing the valve vegetations and ventricular thrombi, which can occur in Behçet syndrome. Vascular involvement can be seen in up to 40% of patients with Behcet syndrome (BS) with the lower-extremity vein thrombosis (LEVT) being the most common type where ultrasonography is needed.
