Overview
The kidney tubule, also renal tubule, is the portion of the kidney containing the fluid filtered through the glomerulus.[1]
The components of the kidney tubule are:
- Proximal tubule
- Loop of Henle
- Descending limb of loop of Henle
- Thin ascending limb of loop of Henle
- Thick ascending limb of loop of Henle
- Distal convoluted tubule
