Overview

Abdominal CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of renal oncocytoma. Findings on CT scan suggestive ofrenal oncocytoma include solid renal lesion, central scar (stellate scar), hypervascularity, hypodenseity (most of the time), and homogenous enhancements.
