Overview
An x-ray of esophagus after barium swallow (esophagogram) is the next best test to support manometric diagnosis.
X Ray (Barium Swallow)
- An x-ray after barium swallow may be helpful in the diagnosis of DES. Findings on an x-ray diagnostic of DES include cork screw pattern. Though they may not be always present even in positive manometric findings.
