  • There are no MRI scan findings associated with bipolar disorder.

MRI findings

  • There are no MRI scan findings associated with bipolar disorder. However, in selected cases can be valuable to exclude an organic etiology for mood symptoms, such as a brain tumor or multiple sclerosis in cases of recent onset mania.[1][2]
