Differential diagnosis of Arterial Thrombosis

The closet Differential diagnosis of arterial thrombosis is arterial embolism. Any other mechanism affecting the vessel wall and the blood flow through it can be considered as a differential diagnosis to arterial thrombosis. The diagnosis is confirmed by arterial imaging modalities such as color doppler sonography, CT angiography and MRI.
