  • Identify areas in the body that are affected by Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
  • Help monitor response to treatment
  • Detect recurrences
  • To see if Non-Hodgkin lymphoma has spread to the bones
  • If bone pain is present (may be caused by bone involvement)
  • If alkaline phosphatase is increased
