Laboratory Findings
Blood tests can show raised creatinine and electrolyte imbalance. Urinalysis may show an elevated pH due to the secondary destruction of nephrons within the affected kidney. Blood (U&E, creatinine) and urine (MSU, pH) tests should be taken.
