- Bone marrow study may be helpful in the diagnosis of CNL.
- Findings suggestive of CNL include:[1][2]
- Hypercellularity with myeloid hyperplasia
- Increasing myeloid to erythroid ratio
- Increasing of myelocytes, metamyelocytes, and bands
- Absence of basophilia and eosinophilia
- Megakaryocytic hyperplasia
