Overview
MRI is helpful in diagnosis causes of epistaxis, when the cause is unknown . It is not the first choice, but in children and patients we prefer to avoid ionizing radiation It is also helpful in heavy and recurrent epistaxis.
CT scan

In head trauma patients with epistaxis that we need an imaging CT scan is preferred.
