Overview
Oxymetazoline is a nasal decongestant, opthalmic agent that is FDA approved for the treatment of nasal congestion, ocular irritation in conjunctivitis. There is a Black Box Warning for this drug as shown here. Common adverse reactions include headache, insomnia, feeling nervous, rebound nasal congestion, dry nasal mucosa , nasal stinging/burning, sneezing.
