How do we integrate the different sites?

What do we want to teach?
  Basic knot tying, needle passing skills
  Practice venous coupling technique
 
Objectives:
History of microsurgery
Basic instrumentation and its use
Microscope (set-up, positioning, etc.)
 
basic instrument/suture manipulation and control
passing the needle through a "vessel"
knot tying
vessel anastomosis (tubing, cadaveric, rat lab)
nerve coaptation
 
free-tissue transfer: elements of the operation
Set-up/sequence/execution
Integration with assistant/RN/second team
 
 
 
1) Successfully complete Rat Femoral Artery Anastomosis End-to-End
2) Successfully complete Rat Femoral Vein Anastomosis End-to-End
3) Successfully complete Rat Femoral Artery Anastomosis End-to-side
4) Successfully complete Femoral Artery-Vein AV-loop
5) Successfully complete Interposition vein graft
6) Successfully complete Neurorrhaphy
