What we want to teach by PGY year (4-6)?

How do we integrate the different sites?

 Computer based chesk list?
View Acland videos (How do we avoid duplication?)

What do we want to teach?

Basic knot tying, needle passing skills
 Practice venous coupling technique

Objectives: History of microsurgery Basic instrumentation and its use Microscope (set-up, positioning, etc.)

basic instrument/suture manipulation and control passing the needle through a "vessel" knot tying vessel anastomosis (tubing, cadaveric, rat lab) nerve coaptation

free-tissue transfer: elements of the operation Set-up/sequence/execution Integration with assistant/RN/second team
