Graduated Medical School in 1976 Universidade Federal do Paraná, in Brazil. Internal medicine from 1977 to 1979 at the Universidade de São Paulo. Post graduation (doctorate) at the University of Oxford, England, from 1980 to 1983. I then returned to Brazil, to Curitiba, Paraná. At present I am director of the post graduation in cardiology at the Hospital Universitário Evangélico de Curitiba, Paraná. Also I hold a position of associate professor of Cardiology in the Faculdade Evangélica de Medicina do Paraná, in Curitiba.
