I'm researching AVMs for my son. He came home from his second deployment to Bagram, Afghanistan with one in 2007. I'm just really tired of the VA docs saying there's nothing more they can do for my son, except try to get his drugs in balance. His primary diagnosis is seizures, but that is somewhat controlled, just not entirely. His main complaint is fatigue. He is constantly tired, from the time he gets up, until he goes to bed. He also has other medical issues and is currently receiving therapy in speech and OT mostly, PT sometimes. I'm looking for a Neurosurgeon to take a look at my son and give me a second opinion. I don' expect a magic bullet to make him better, but I would like a fresh set of eyes on him. Like I said, he suffers from chronic fatigue, and that, is what is holding him back in everything, crippling his recovery. I trying to reach to somebody that can help my son, the Navy Veteran.
