I am a Family Physician with special expertise/training in surgical obstetric care, dedicated to the practice of Primary and Maternal/Child Health Care. While I currently maintain a traditional Family Medicine practice, I have a special focus on obstetrics, pediatrics, and wound care. I am particularly committed with the education of patients for the improvement of their well being. I have participated in community activities to promote health literacy for health consumers in the different communities I've worked with. I have also an interest in the promotion of Family Medicine and Primary Care as 'the right alternative' for the improvement of community health.
