a. Clinical experience in Neurology:

I have worked as full time Clinical Neurologist at Apollo hospital Hyderabad India from 1990 to 2002 and then at Apollo Hospital Colombo from 2002 to 2007, 2007-2010 working at Apollo Clinic at Hyderabad India. Also worked at Qatif Central Hospital Qatif Saudi Arabia in 1994-1995 as Specialist Neurologist. Sr. Consultant Neurologist at GNRC Medical Guwati from 2010-2012 and then as Director Neurology .

During this period worked at out patient, inpatient and Intensive care unit to manage all types of neurological cases, Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement disorder, Pain, and Dementias. Started thrombolysis of Stroke as early as 1992 both Intraarterial and Intravenous and personally completed 60 cases till 2007. Worked as Clinical Neuro-electro-physiologist doing EMG, NCV and Evoked Potiential, Sensory, Visual and Auditory. Started Sleep Lab at Apollo Hospital Colombo and doing sleep study for Sleep disorder patients.

b. Teaching and research

Teaching:

Taught undergraduate student during MD (medicine) and DM (Neurology) training. Taught DNB (Diplomat of National Board) Neurology at Apollo Hospital Hyderabad during 2000 to 2002. Took a new course on Cognitive Neurophysiology at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad from Jan 2009- April 2009.

c. Team Leader/Member in a multidisciplinary approach to service provision.

During MD and DM training worked as team leader for the junior staff and doctors. Since 1990 managing junior doctors, electrophysiology technician, emergency and Intensive care unit staff till 2007. Director of Neurology at GNRC Medical since 2012

d. Quality improvement and Hospital accreditation

Participated in ISO 9001 certification at Apollo Hospital Hyderabad and Magna InfoTech as software architect.

Helping at Apollo Hospital Colombo for JCI accreditation.

e. Infection Control

Worked as member of Infectious control team at Apollo Hospital Hyderabad during 1999 to 2002
