I am a 5th year MD/PhD student at UT Austin and UTMB in Galveston. I have completed the first 3 years of my MD as well as STEP 1 and STEP 2. I am currently pursuing my PhD in neuroscience at UT Austin. I am studying neuroplasticity after stroke and how behavioral experience can be maladaptive or adaptive. Currently I am a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate human physiology course. When I am not in the lab or in the classroom I am working out outside doing progressive calisthenics and or minimalist running.
