Overview
Medical therapy
- There is no obvious medical treatment for schwannomas other than managing the symptoms.
Radiotherapy
SRS is the most commonly used between these as it causes minimal injury to adjacent tissues. However, there is a risk of progressive hearing deterioration associated with radiotherapy for vestibular schwannomas.
