- Acute perforation
- Bilious peritonitis
- Bowel adhesion
- Gallbladder necrosis
- Gangrenous cholecystitis
- Sepsis
Prognosis
- It has a favorable prognosis due to early diagnosis and prompt treatment.
- With immediate surgery the mortality rate is less than 5%.[1][2]
