PET scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of anaplastic large cell lymphoma.
Other Imaging Studies
- PET scan can help diagnose anaplastic large cell lymphoma. An initial staging 18F‐fluorodeoxyglucose‐positron emission/computerized tomography (FDG‐PET/CT) scan is usually performed and demonstrates the following in the affected lymph node and or tissue:[1]
