I worked with Dr. Verzosa at his clinic as a Clinical Extern. During this Clinical Externship,

- I actively participated in patient care. My mentor, Dr. Verzosa is a primary care physician and Chairman of Internal Medicine

Department at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, with a 50+ years’ experience in primary care.

- My responsibilities included History taking and performing physical examination, getting the pertinent workup done, and discussing

cases and possible management plans of different patients.

- I also recorded EKGs regularly, assisted in IM injections of B12, vaccinations, wound care and dressing.

- I attended morning rounds, weekly grand round, conferences and lectures presented by residents in the Hospital.

- This externship allowed me to work on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and come across some of the common Ethical dilemmas

faced by physicians here, as well.
