There are no MRI findings associated with small intestine cancer.
MRI
- MRI and MRI enteroscopy is an other modality to diagnose and stage small intestinal cancers. [1]
- MR enteroclysis can distinguish between benign and malignant neoplasms.[2]
- It can localize small intestine tumors very well so, it is very useful for tumor staging.
- MR enteroclysis can help in surgery, to define boundaries and extent of tumor that can not be assessed by histological evaluation, particularly if laparoscopy is considered.[3]
