Dosing and Administration

Salmeterol should be administered by the orally inhaled route only. The action of salmetrol may last up to 12 hours or longer. The recommended dosage (2 inhalations twice daily, morning and evening) should not be exceeded.
It is recommended to “test spray” salmetrol into the air 4 times before using for the first time and in cases where the aerosol has not been used for a prolonged period of time (i.e., more than 4 weeks).
