Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. Surgical options include Polypectomy, laparotomy and desvagination of intestinal loops may be needed in case of intussusception, and laser cosmetic therapy may be considered for mucocutaneous pigmentation.[1]

  • Polypectomy is performed if the patient presented with any of the following:
  • Laparotomy and desvagination of intestinal loops may be needed in case of intussusception
  • Laser cosmetic therapy may be considered for mucocutaneous pigmentation
