Primary prevention
Most of the primary prevention techniques are hygiene techniques:[1]
- Washing hands
- Keeping hands clean and maintaining hands hygiene can help in preventing the virus from spreading.
- Follow good hygiene (cleanliness) habits
- No touch, pick, or scratch of skin that has lesions
- Keeping the area with molluscum lesions clean and covered with clothing or a bandage
- Not sharing towels, clothing, or other personal items with others specially during sporting
