- Acantholytic squamous cell carcinoma
- Adenosquamous carcinoma
- Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma
- Papillary squamous cell carcinoma
- Spindle cell squamous cell carcinoma
- Verrucous carcinoma
- Giant cell carcinoma
- Lymphoepithelial carcinoma (non-nasopharyngeal)
- Neuroendocrine carcinoma
- Typical carcinoid tumor (well differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma)
