Gastrinoma

Overview

A gastrinoma is a tumor that secretes gastrin.

It is frequently the source of the gastrin in Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

It is most commonly found in the pancreas and duodenum.

Treatment

Treatment can involve surgery or proton pump inhibitors.
