Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) may be classified according to Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society (ASAS) into ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and non radiographic axSpA (nr-axSpA). Formerly Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) termed as spondyloarthritides or spondyloarthropathies. AS has been regarded as the prototype of spondyloarthritis.

Overview

Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) may be classified according to Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society (ASAS) into ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and non radiographic axSpA (nr-axSpA).
