Overview

Fluorometholone is a adrenal cortex hormone that is FDA approved for the treatment of corticosteroid-responsive inflammation of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment of the globe. Common adverse reactions include burning sensation in eye, cataract, eye irritation, impaired wound healing, raised intraocular pressure, infectious disease.
