Overview
Flutamide is an androgen antagonist that is FDA approved for the treatment of carcinoma of prostate, stage B2, C or D2, in combination with an LHRH agonist. Common adverse reactions include rash, hot sweats, diarrhea, nausea.
Adult Indications and Dosage

Carcinoma of prostate, Stage B2, C or D2, in combination with an LHRH agonist
Dosing Information
250 mg ORALLY every 8 hr in conjunction with a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist; begin 8 weeks prior to initiating radiation therapy and continue during radiation therapy.
