Other diagnostic studies are not required for the diagnosis of Haff disease.

Other diagnostic studies

Other diagnostic studies such as MRI, muscle biopsy and electromyography are not required for the diagnosis of Haff disease.

Muscle biopsy may be conducted after recovery from rhabdomyolysis to differentiate the inflammatory and metabolic myopathies.[1]
