Complications
Complete heart block is associated with the following complications:
- Cardiovascular collapse
- Hypotension
- Stokes-Adams syndrome
- Ventricular tachycardia
- Ventricular fibrillation
- Worsening of heart failure
- Worsening of angina
- Death
Prognosis
Patients treated with permanent pacemaker have an excellent prognosis.
