Individuals with gastritis experience abdominal pain and gastric disturbances. Symptoms as a result of gastritis are upper abdominal pain or discomfort, dyspepsia (indigestion), nausea, vomiting of blood or dark brown/coffee-ground like vomitus, bloating sensation in the upper abdomen, belching, heartburn, loss of appetite, melena (dark stools), gastric hemorrhage, fever, lethargy, halitosis, epigastric pain or abdominal pain, early satiety, fatigue and diarrhea.
