Nasal obstruction due to the presence of a mass is the most common symptom with olfactory neuroblastoma and is present in the majority of cases.
*The presenting symptoms of esthesioneuroblastoma depend on the location and extent of the tumor.
*The most common symptoms are nasal bleeding, unilateral nasal obstruction, headaches, decreased sense of smell, and facial pain.
*Extension into the orbit may give rise to proptosis, double vision, tearing, and decreased visual acuity.
*Intracranial extension may lead to neurological symptoms such as changes in mental status, nausea and vomiting, headaches, seizures, and eventually coma and death.
*Obstruction of the eustachian tube may result in causing other symptoms such as ear pain and serous otitis media.
*Nasal obstruction due to the presence of a mass is the most common symptom with olfactory neuroblastoma and is present in the majority of cases.

Overview

Symptoms of esthesioneuroblastoma include nasal obstruction, epistaxis, ear pain, otitis media, hyposmia, nasal discharge, facial pain, changes in vision, lacrimation, facial numbness, neck mass, and anosmia.[1][2][3][4][5]

History
