Overview

Blurred vision is a common ocular symptom which refers to loss of clarity or sharpness of vision and difficulty to see fine details.It can present unilateral or bilateral.Blurred vision may result from refractive errors, opacity of structures (lens, cornea, vitreous), retina disorders or optic nerve diseases.


Causes

Blurred vision is caused by a wide range of eye conditions.

Treatment

Underlying disorders should be treated. Corrective lenses can correct visual acuity.
