Acetochlor is an herbicide marketed under the trade names Acenit, Guardian, Harness, Relay, Sacemid, Surpass, Top-Hand, Trophy and Winner. It is a member of the class of herbicides known as chloroacetanilides. It is used mainly to control weeds in corn fields.

Acetochlor has been classified as a probable human carcinogen.[1]
