Primary prevention
- Effective measures for the primary prevention of preeclampsia include administration of low dose aspirin before the 16th week of pregnancy.[1]
- In a recent clinical trial, there was 62% reduction in the occurrence of preeclampsia in patients received 150 mg aspirin daily.
