CT scan

  • Chest CT scan findings in patients infected with coronavirus include:
    • Focal or multifocal opacities[1]
    • Ground-glass opacity (Unilateral or bilateral)
  • Chest CT scan findings in patients infected with MERS-CoV include:
    • Consolidation[2]
    • Septal thickening
    • Subpleural and lower lobe involvement more likely
    • No thoracic lymphadenopathy
