Sepharose

Sepharose is a tradename for a crosslinked, beaded-form of agarose (a polysaccharide polymer material extracted from seaweed). It is commonly used in affinity chromatography as the matrix. Protein A-agarose chromatography provides a simple and efficient method for purifying antibodies.
