(WikiDoc) - Scientists at the Universities of Maryland and Wisconsin-Madison have mapped the genetic code of the common cold, or at least the 99 most-common strains of it. According to the journal Science, the genetic mapping of the the common cold, or human rhinovirus, could be a great step toward full genome-based epidemiologic studies and antiviral or vaccine development.
