Overview

Disorders that would increase or cause high IDL may be due to defects or deficiency in the lipoprotein particle, endocrine causes, familial and metabolic causes.

Causes

Life Threatening Causes

Life-threatening causes include conditions which may result in death or permanent disability within 24 hours if left untreated.

There are no life threatening causes of high IDL.
