Heatbar

Jump to navigation Jump to search

A Heatbar is an electronic cigarette that has been developed by the tobacco industry as a replacement for conventional cigarettes. The product, available in Switzerland and planned to be introduced in Australia, heats specially designed cigarettes without burning them. The manufacturer of the device, Philip Morris, claims the Heatbar will deliver an aerosol which gives the consumer the flavor and aroma associated with smoking, while reducing second hand smoke by 90 percent.

The Heatbar is similar in principle to vaporizers, which have been used primarily by cannabis smokers as a healthier alternative to smoking for several years.
